Donnell Lee Mullen Buckland

FORT WORTH–Donnell Lee Mullen Buckland passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones, Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 82.
A memorial requiem mass was held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St. Timothy’s Church for family and close friends, Bishop Keith L. Ackerman, SSC officiating.
Donnell was born September 21, 1934 to the late Willis M. Mullen and Mary Elizabeth Turner Mullen in Fort Worth. Donnell enjoyed many outdoor activities from camping, fishing and nature preserves. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She volunteered at Souder Elementary where she was awarded “Volunteer of the Year”. She loved her family greatly and cherished them. She was always willing to help and make sure everyone was always safe. Donnell will be greatly missed.
Donnell is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 56 years, George Herbert Buckland Jr.; her grandson, Cade Franklin Curry; and her brother, Lionel “Moon” Mullen.
Donnell is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Mahlon Buckland and Stacie Georgine Buckland Curry; four grandchildren, Megan Lee Buckland, Elisa Bibianna Gutierrez, Georgette Abelina Gitierrez and Eric Miguel Gutierrez; great grandchildren, Drake Dyer Buckland, Nikoa Allen Sawyer, Isabella Gutierrez, Braydon Gutierrez and Sindaia Zen Reynolds; and many friends.
