Doris Diane Southern

Doris Diane Southern, of Fort Worth Texas, was called home by her Lord and savior on July 5th, 2023, as she passed peacefully. She was a loving mother to 3 boys and 4 grandchildren. She was born on April 28th, 1949 to her parents Edwin and Betty Brown. She spent a long career in nursing and loved caring for others. She also loved praising and proclaiming the love of Jesus. She was married to Paul Victor Southern for 38 loving years as they raised their 3 children well. Paul went to be with his lord and savior in March, 2007. She later remarried Brian Dyer of Burleson, Texas. She loved her family and her grandchildren dearly.

Celebration of life:  6:30 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2023 at Rush Creek Church, 2200 US 287 Frontage Road, Mansfield, Texas 76063

Doris is preceded in death by her parents Betty and Edwin Brown, brother Ronnie Brown, husband Paul Southern, and son Steven Southern. May they rest in peace as Doris is reunited with them in heaven. 

Doris is survived by her sons Darrin Southern of Burleson Tx, Kevin Southern of Little Elm, Tx, and sister Sandra Shaw of Trinity TX, grandchildren Makenna and Kylie Southern of Burleson, Tx, Quinn and Everett Southern of Denton, Tx, and many friends and family.  
We love you, you will be missed dearly, and will all see you again!
