Duane Marlin Weast

FORT WORTH-Duane Marlin Weast passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the age of 63.

Duane was born Tuesday, March 11, 1958 to David and Oneta Weast in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended and graduated from Castleberry High School. While in school, he loved to play baseball and tennis and his favorite pastime was playing 42. He then went on to attend UTA @ Arlington and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in finance and real estate. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta while in college. Duane was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed.
Duane is preceded in death by his father, David Weast; brother, Ronald Weast; half-sister, Susie Lynn Weast; step father, Harold Mutchler; maternal grandparents, Ila and Hattie Varner Redwine; and paternal grandparents, Alcie and Gladys Baird Weast.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Oneta Redwine Mutchler; son, Daniel Weast and wife, Justine; daughter, Samantha Weast Allen; brother, Larry Weast, Sr. and wife, Bobbie; half-sister, Marsha Weast Griffin and husband, Allan; nephews, Larry Weast Jr. and wife, April, Christopher Weast, Taylor Weast, Brenden Gibson; nieces, Melanie Weast Mayhall and husband, P.D., Brittany Gibson, Brianna Griffin and Zoey Griffin; many other nieces and nephews; step-brother, Michael Mutchler and wife, Shelly; step-brother, Scott Mutchler and wife, Kathy; step-brother, Norman Mutchler and wife, Kay; aunt, Wynon Redwine Dyson; and many cousins.
