Eddie was born December 14, 1940 to the late Pascual Colon and Mercedes Gonzalez in Coamo, Puerto Rico. He was a very devoted Catholic and through his life, an active member of his church. He loved to travel the world with his wife and they took many trips together. Eddie loved to bring the family together during the holidays to enjoy his home prepared meals. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 50 years, Ana Toledo de Colon.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Elizabeth Rucker and husband, Kenneth; son, Freedie Ramirez; niece that he raised as his daughter, Margie Wright; grandsons, Jonathan Ramirez and Brian Ramirez.
