FORT WORTH — Eddye Lou Brown, 68, “Lou” as she was known by everyone, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, at her home with her husband and her daughters by her side, in Fort Worth from complications of a long battle with the terminal effects of Pick’s disease.
Memorial service: A memorial service will be held in Fort Worth, at a date and place to be announced.
Lou was born in Fort Worth on Aug. 5, 1947, to Clifton Edward and Lula Hutchinson Pannell of White Settlement. The oldest of four siblings, Beverly Sue, Charles “Chuck,” and Lula Gay, she grew up in White Settlement.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Hutchison-Pannell, in 2004; her father, Clifton Edward Pannell, in 2011; and her sister, Lula Gay Simmons, in 1980.
Survivors: Lou is survived by her immediate family, husband, Aaron Brown; her daughter, Lou Christine Storms and her husband, Sean; her son, Aaron Scott Brown and his wife, Valerie; and stepdaughter, Lova Brown-Freeman, whose selfless, loving and compassionate daily care helped Lou through her last eight years of life. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly Sue Hammonds and her husband, Larry; brother, Charles Pannell and his wife, Debbie; brother-in-law, Randall Simmons; brother-in-law, Ray Brown and his wife, Dianne;sister-in-law, Paula Tucker-Brown; her grandchildren, Bryan Freeman, Cheree Crump, Makayla, Taylor, Jordyn, and Riley Brown, Daniel King; and great-grandchildren, Devin, Toby, and John Thomas Crump, and Scarlett Freeman.
