Edelmira R. Rushing

FORT WORTH-Edelmira R. Rushing passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the age of 75.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 11 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
INTERMENT: Edelmira will be interred in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Edelmira was born April 18, 1946 to the late Pablo Ramon Jr. and Incela Ramon in Tarrant County, Texas.
She attended Diamond Hill Jarvis High School. Edelmira loved to read novels, watch Perry Mason shows along with other older tv shows and enjoyed going to the casinos. She was so happy to be able to celebrate her 75th birthday as a family along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren beside her. She was the happiest when she was at family gatherings. Edelmira was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed.
Edelmira is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Rushing; brother, Pablo Ramon III; sister, Amparo Rodriquez; daughter, Christina Herrera; and step son, Jason Dean Rushing..
SURVIVORS: Sister, Elisama Ramon; brother, Ruben Ramon; brother, Benino Rodriquez; son, Enrique Herrera; son, Richard Herrera; son, Jayme Herrera; daughter, Rebecca Herrera; step daughter, RoseAnne Rushing-Pease; granddaughter, Jennifer Ramos and spouse, Andrew Esquibel; granddaughter, Consuelo Saldana and spouse, Adrian Saldana; followed by 15 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
