Esther Wicker

FORT WORTH-Esther Wicker passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the age of 89.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.

Esther was born Tuesday, October 8, 1929 to the late Charles Daniels and Ann Dorsey in Chicago, Illinois. She became a nurse’s aide and retired after many years spent in the medical field. Esther was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Bunyan Wicker, CW3 US Army Retired; and sons, Richard Wise and Anthony D. Wise.
Survivors: Son, Dennis V. Wise and wife, Brenda; son, John Anthony Wicker and wife, Luchi; daughter, Jacqueline Wise; sister, Mary Ann Douroux; brother-in-law, Henry Burton and wife, Sarah; 15 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
