KELLER-Evelyn Ruth Sporman went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the age of 77.
Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at The Bowden, 1775 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248
Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with Rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
Interment: Evelyn will be laid to rest in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Evelyn was born October 7, 1940 to the late Russell and Helen Chynoweth in Hammond, Indiana. She met and fell in love with the love of her life, Fred Sporman and they were united in marriage June 18, 1960 and celebrated 57 years together. Evelyn will always be remembered for the love and devotion she held for her family and the time she spent with them all. Her legacy will live on through her daughters and grandchildren and she will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
The family would like to say a special thank you to each and every staff member at Legend Oaks & Health Care and Asana Hospice for their outstanding compassion and care they provided to Evelyn and our family in our time of need.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Delores Chynoweth; sister, Florence Cummings; and numerous other family members and dear friends.
Survivors: Husband of 57 years, Fred Sporman; daughter Christine Brown and husband, Monte; daughter, Dianne Dickinson and husband, Matt; daughter, Denise Nadwodny and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Jacob Brown, Tori Brown, Mason Dickinson, Shelby Dickinson, Dylan Nadwodny and Riley Nadwodny; brothers, Raymond Chynoweth and wife, Marilyn; and Douglas Chynoweth and wife, Kathy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends.
