Faye McCoy

FORT WORTH–Faye McCoy entered into eternal rest Monday, May 22, 2017 at the age of 90 surrounded by local family and close friends.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Trinity Terrace Chapel 1600 Texas St.
Interment: Private
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Trinity Terrace Foundation, 1600 Texas St, Ft Worth 76102, or the Alzheimer’s Association, 2630 W Frwy, Ft Worth 76102.

Faye was born and raised in Logan County Arkansas where she enjoyed Sunday school and church. She and her family moved to Southern California her senior year in high school where she remained active in the local church. After working for Convair in San Diego, she moved to Ft. Worth and began a career with Bell Helicopter. She retired after a successful 28 years at Bell and had much respect for her friends and co-workers there. Faye was a member of the First United Methodist Church and The Woman’s Club of Ft. Worth. Faye enjoyed ballroom dancing, bridge club, and listening to her favorite music. She had immense love for this great country.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents Hugh Aster Core and Viola Maude Core, husband William J. McCoy.
Survivors: Sons, Richard McCoy and wife Phyllis, Jay McCoy and wife Teresa. Grandchildren, Kelly McCoy, Michael McCoy and wife Emily, Marcus McCoy and Kayla (McCoy) Morris and husband Austin. Great-grandchildren, Henry Jones McCoy and Hattie Catherine McCoy.
