Florence Pridgeon Corcoran

Florence Pridgeon Corcoran passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at the age of 93.

Celebration of life:  10 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.

Visitation:  5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the funeral home

Florence was born February 19, 1930 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late J.A. Pridgeon and Gussie Boyder.  Florence and her husband Robert built their own home, and lived on the property for over 70 years. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.  She was a volunteer firefighter/EMT. She loved to play cards and especially Skip-Bo, reading, coloring, working puzzles, sending greeting cards and holiday cards to her many family and friends.    

Florence is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, Robert Corcoran; sisters, Debbie Ballard and Barbara; and brother, Charles Pridgeon.

Survivors:  Daughters, Mary Ann Merlau and husband, David and Cathy Maguire and husband, David; nieces, Debbie and Dawn; and nephew, Kim Ballard.
