Frances Lorene Thompson

FORT WORTH-Frances Lorene Thompson passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the age of 95.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Frances was born March 3, 1923 to the late General Jackson Douglas and Mattie Ella Sparks Thompson in Hartley County, Texas.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Katie Pickering; sister, Cora Faye Smith; and brothers, Valdon and Milfred Thompson. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Son, Robert Chesnut and wife, Renate; daughter, Carolyn Smithey; daughter, Annette Swindall and husband, Benny; son, Johnnie Chesnut and wife Sheri; daughter, Patricia Strunk and husband, Jim; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
