FORT WORTH — General W. Peoples passed away peacefully Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the age of 77.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
General was born May 9, 1937 in Arkansas to the late Theophilus and Inez Peoples.
General is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Shields; brothers, Melvin Peoples and Hubert Peoples.
Survivors: Son, Lionell Peoples and wife, Vivian; daughter, Linda Matthews and husband, Donald Early; son, LaMark Peoples; daughter, LaCretia Peoples and husband, Fred Marshall; daughter, Lisa Peoples; son, Larry Peoples and wife, Anna Guiterrez; grandchildren, Nitosha Tubbs and husband, Jerry Tubbs Sr., Nikeisha Peterson and husband, Barritte, Jeanetta Gray and husband, Germell, Dennis Aseltyne, Curtis Burns Jr., Jalil Burns, Dominic Peoples, Destinee Peoples and DaLair Peoples; great-grandchildren, Jaymien Matthews, Jasani Warner, Jai Tubbs, Jerry Tubbs Jr., Jeremiah Gray and Eli Gray; siblings, Theophillus Peoples II, Carylyn Fletcher, Gwendolyn Peoples, Andre Peoples and wife, Earlene, Arthur Peoples and Kenneth Peoples; and many friends.
