Gerald Hoyle

Gerald Hoyle, 78, passed away on March 23, 2023, in Fort Worth, TX. Gerald Hoyle was born on July 1, 1944 in Conway, AR, to Alvin Hoyle and Emogene Hoyle who preceded him in death. Gerald was the oldest of the four children and he loved his three brothers Eugene, Bobby, Roy, along with two sisters-in-law Debbie and Beverly dearly.

On April 1st, 1972, at Eagle Mountain Lake on a picnic blanket Gerald proposed to Dottie, the love of his life and she said yes to the next 50 years, 11 months, and 23 days. The couple had 5 children, Letitia Hoyle, of Crowley, Michael Hoyle, of Fort Worth, Amy Gaston, of Fort Worth, Garrison Yapp, of Hollywood, FL, and Matilda Arnaud. Gerald was known as "daddy rabbit", "dad", "papa", or "popo" and loved every role from husband, father, grandfather, mentor, friend, disciple, and coworker. Gerald was best known for his love of fishing, gardening, theological/messianic studies, outdoor activities, genealogy, animals, discipleship, rooting for his Razorbacks (Woo Pig Sooie), playing canasta, and dominoes.

Gerald is survived by Dottie Hoyle - spouse, of Fort Worth, Letitia Hoyle - daughter, of Crowley, Michael Hoyle - son, of Fort Worth, Amy Gaston - daughter, of Fort Worth, Garrison Yapp - son, of Hollywood, FL, Erica Hoyle - daughter-in-law, Bobby Hoyle - brother, Eugene Hoyle - brother, Roy Hoyle - brother, Beverly Hoyle - sister-in-law, Debbie Hoyle - sister-in-law, Ariel Gaston - granddaughter, Emma Gaston - granddaughter, Alexander Gaston - grandson, Doriana Gaston - granddaughter, Kaleb Copeland - grandson, Kyleigh Copeland - granddaughter, Jaimee Copeland - granddaughter, Alina McNeil - granddaughter, Shiloh Yapp - grandson, Matilda Arnaud - daughter.

The service for Gerald Hoyle will be held on Wednesday March 29, 2023, at 11am at Brown, Owens, and Brumley Funeral Home.
