FORT WORTH — Gertrude “Ludy” Necas passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the age of 95.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Monday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Interment: Gertrude will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Edward Necas in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Gertrude was born Jan. 14, 1921 to the late Frank and Louisa Balf in Milam County in Buckholts and was the youngest of twelve. She married Edward R. Necas on Oct. 10, 1939 in Cameron. They moved immediately to Fort Worth where they began their work careers. She retired from Jahns Supply & Plumbing after more than 38 years of dedicated service.
Survivors: Niece, Shirley Wright and husband, Bob; dear friend, Gay Perry and her family; and many friends and bowling buddies.
