Glenn Earl Carr

FORT WORTH-Glenn Earl Carr died Friday, October 26, 2018 at the age of 79.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment: Glenn will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Patricia Carr in Everman Cemetery.
Glenn was born February 26, 1939 in Fort Worth and graduated from Everman High School. He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy for 7 years. He graduated with a degree in math from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. He moved to Fort Worth and went to work for Bell Helicopter. While at Bell, he met a single mother of two, Patricia Halvorson. He married Pat in December 1969. Later he received a Master’s degree from TCU. He retired as a programmer from the U.S. General Services Administration. Throughout their retirement they devoted themselves to serve their longtime home church, King of Glory Lutheran. Glenn followed Pat, the love of his life into Heaven 9 days later.
Glenn is survived by his children, David Halvorson and wife, Janet, Donna Kopacki and husband, Jon; grandchildren, Jordan, Robin, Sean, Krystle, Luke, Cassie, Grace, Esther; great- grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mason, Shiloh, Gabrielle, Dani, Judah; nephew, Aaron; niece, Kristen; along with many friends.
