KELLER: Glenvil “Glenn” Vance, 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017 at his home with his loving wife by his side.

Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Gateway Church in Southlake, 700 Blessed Way, Southlake, Texas 76092.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 1 hour prior to the Celebration of Life Service.

Burial: 10:15 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery-Lane A, Dallas, Texas.

Glenn was born April 5, 1934 to the late Dennis Arthur and Rosa Nell Vance in Teaberry, Kentucky. Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and followed his passion in the Aviation industry as a production manager at Bell Helicopter/Textron until he retired. He lived a very active life with an unending list of things that he loved to do. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and dune buggies in the mountains of Colorado, camping, outdoors, yardwork, dominoes and cards with his friends, and square dancing. He will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors: Loving wife of 36 years, Shirley Ann Vance; daughter, Glenna Dattilo and husband Mike of Columbus, OH; son, David Vance of Wichita Falls, TX; stepsons, Randy Fretwell and wife Sharon, Ronnie Fretwell both of Weatherford, TX, and Terry Fretwell and wife Christy of Watauga,TX; grandchildren Aaron and Drew Dattilo, Lindsey Riffe and husband, Jason, Garrett Vance, Christy Fretwell Little, Justin, Josh, Chad, Cody, Dustin and Krista Fretwell; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Kaleb, Cash, Raylene, Grey, Eli, Mckinley and Camden; brothers, Jimmy Vance and wife Debbie, Coy Vance, and Gary Vance and wife Janet ; sisters, Loretta Vance Horne, Gilberta Vance Lutz and husband Ron, Lois Vance Marcum, and Saundra Vance Sapp and husband Charlie, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.
