Gwendolyn Tandy Upchurch, born on Aug. 8, 1989, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Visitation: The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Gwendolyn was a remarkable young woman who lit up a room and deeply touched those she met. Words will never express how much we love and miss her yet her spirit lives on in us all. We are grieving her lost battle to addiction that she fought so valiantly. Our family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to all who tried so hard to help her and for the prayers and thoughts that have sustained us in the past, present and future.
