FORT WORTH-Hildegard Erika Rowe passed away peacefully Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the age of 94.
Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation and reception: after the service at Becker home in Benbrook.
Hildegard was born Wednesday, April 1, 1925 to the late Emil And Berda Patzold in Glasendorf, Schlesien. She attended elementary and high school in Germany as well as business college. She had training classes and schools through Army & Air Force Exchange Service. Hildegard retired after working for 20 years with Army & Air Force Exchange Service at Fort Hood. She moved from Germany to Killeen, Texas and then eventually to Fort Worth, Texas where she remained until her peaceful death. Hildegard was always willing to help friends and family with anything they needed. She always put others before herself. Her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and family time was her favorite time. She had a sassy sense of humor and was a real “Corker”. Hildegard was also a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Hildegard is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence W. Rowe who was a WWII Veteran; sisters, Elisabeth Michler and Frieda Nafe; brothers, Alfred, Eric, Walter and Herbert Patzold.
Survivors: Daughter, Lydia Wise and husband, Bryan; granddaughter, Kana Keisel and husband, JD; granddaughter, Amelia Billings; granddaughter, Heather Becker and husband, John; great grandchildren, Nathan Billings, Madelynn Billings, Garrett Billings, Jameson Keisel and Addison Keisel.
