FORT WORTH-Holly Marlene Midkiff passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the age of 39.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at Hope Works, 1701 Hemphill St., Fort Worth, Texas.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
INTERMENT: Holly will be laid to rest in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Holly was born Thursday, October 1, 1981 to Sammy Gene and Edna L. Midkiff in Fort Worth, Texas.
She was a fourth grade teacher at Hope Works Christian Academy. She was loved by the teachers, students and parents. Holly was a graduate of Granbury High School, Class of 2000. She was attending on-line school at SNHU and attended North Texas University. Notes from her father; When Holly wanted something and I would tell her we couldn’t afford it she would say, “Well Daddy, let’s go find the money tree outside.” When her mom died at the hospital, she kissed her and said, “Sleep tight, Mommy, sleep tight.” She continued to grieve the loss of her mother all of her life.
Notes from Trinity; Holly loved the movie “Lion King” and was disappointed with the live event.
Holly was a loving mother, daughter and daughter-in-law to the Beverly’s. She loved her family with all her heart. She was truly a “Ray of Sunshine!”
Holly is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Midkiff; son, Titus Malachi Akins; grandparents, Harold H. and Fama Beth Walker Midkiff; grandparents, Glen and Laura Abbott; and brother-in-law, Justin Kemble.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Trinity Alexis Akins; son, Timothy Paul Tyrell Beverly; grandfather, Sammy Gene Midkiff and wife, Barbara; special friend, Jeremy Brown; sister, Samantha Dianne Kemble; nephews, Sebastian, Gavin and Zander Kemble; parents-in-law, Timothy and Cynthia Beverly; sisters-in-law, Veda Beverly and Esda Beverly; and numerous friends.
