ARANSAS PASS-James Andrew Mesch passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the young age of 25.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
James Andrew Cochran was born Wednesday, April 27, 1994 to Laurie Anne Potter Hagerman Cochran and Martin Drew Cochran. James was later adopted by his Dad, David Russell Mesch.
James grew up in the Fredericksburg Comfort area. He moved down to the coast 8 years ago and became a resident of Aransas Pass. James made friends where ever he went. He loved to make people smile. He always saw the best in everyone and never judged them. His love for his friends and family knew no bounds, there is nothing he wouldn’t do for you. He will forever be missed and never be forgotten. May God hold him tight until we can hold him again. God speed my precious angel.
James was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Grover James Maltby and Margaret Evelyn Dawson. His grandparents, Andrew Newton Cochran and Lavana Gertrude Weidenfeller, Frederick Palmer Mesch, and Joyce Estelle Baron Snyder.
Survivors: James is survived by his partner of eight years, Josh Holland; parents, Laurie Anne Potter Hagerman Mesch and David Russell Mesch; eldest brother Marc Russell Mesch and wife, Laynie, and children Parker, Noah, and Harper; brother, Dylan Charles Mesch and wife, Katrina, and son Caleb; sister, Amanda Lee Mesch Whittington and husband, Ray Whittington, and son Lucas; grandparents, Jaqueline Lee Maltby Honeycutt and Matthew Honeycutt; and many friends.
