James White

HURST-James White passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at the age of 74.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
James was born Monday, March 3, 1947 to the late Raymond and Reva White in Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated from East High School, Class of 1965. James proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Marines. He was a Marines Platoon Sergeant who served two combat tours in Vietnam. After the war, he worked several places including John Deere, construction, training K9’s for the local police and did some farming. James loved hunting, fishing, writing, training dogs, hiking and anything that included the outdoors. James was a loving father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed.
James is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ray White and Robert White.
SURVIVORS: Son, Aaron White; daughter, Maggie White; brother, John White; grandson, Hashim White; granddaughter, Nisa White; grandson, Jefthe Garza-White; granddaughter, Janessa Garza-White; granddaughter, Mia Smith; and many friends.
