NORTH RICHLAND HILLS-Janae Nanette Bryant, 43, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 11, 2021 in North Richland Hills, Texas.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. at The Hills Church Southlake Campus.
Janae was born Friday, March 25, 1977 to Gary and Linda Wingard at Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. She graduated from Haltom High School, attended Tarrant County Community College, finished her Bachelors at University of North Texas and went on to get her Masters of Occupational Therapy at Texas Women’s University. She was also a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
She loved quilting, reading, bowling, puzzles, baking cookies with her nieces, and shopping. She was an avid Rangers, Dallas Stars fan and loved going to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra with her father. Some of her fondest memories include camping at Red Feather Lakes in Colorado, yearly visits with extended family, adopting Ashley, and the Make-a-Wish trip to Disney World.
Janae attended The Hills Church at the Southlake Campus. With going through chemo and Covid restrictions, she and her husband, Joseph, found strength through reading the gospels multiple times and also read the whole New Testament. Jeremiah 29:11-13
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Trista Hollis; grandparents, Don and Jerri Howard; grandparents, Dora and Floyd Stoddard; grandpa, Houston Wingard; uncle, Clifford Howard; and uncle, Don Howard, Jr.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Joseph Bryant; daughter, Ashley Bryant; mom, Linda Wingard; dad, Gary Wingard; niece, Callie Carter; nephew, Ethan Carter; niece, Tirah Day; niece, Whitney Hollis; grandmother, Juanita Rose; brother-in-law, Tim Hollis; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
