Jason was born Friday, June 26, 1970 to the late Jerome and Jean Ann Scheps in Norwalk, Connecticut. He attended Nathan Hale Junior High, Vero Beach High School and Marnin Elementary School. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the National Guard/Army.
Jason had a great sense of humor that would light up the room. He always made everyone laugh whether it be his “random thought of the day” in the family group chat or his random joke even in person. He was just a genuine funny guy. I don’t remember a time I was with him that I didn’t laugh at something he said or did. He was a very devoted father, grandfather and a very loving devoted mate and my best friend. He always knew how to cheer you up when you were sad. He was a thoughtful, loving guy who would help a friend in need. Jason loved spending time with his family and friends, entertaining them with game nights at his home in Kaufman. He loved to travel and visit different casinos along the way. He collected Mustang Hot Wheel cars and wanted to stop at every Walmart he could to try to find that perfect chase car. He enjoyed sports and his favorite football team was the Giants. He loved taking his grandkids to the water park. Jason will be deeply missed by us all.
Jason is preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Michael Bragdon.
