Jenifer “Jen” Lee Scarborough

HALTOM CITY-Jenifer “Jen” Lee Scarborough passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at the age of 31.

Jenifer was born Friday, December 30, 1988 in Fort Worth to Guadalupe Campos Jr. and Lana Lee Scarborough. Jen will be remembered for giving love and kindness and how she always put others first no matter how much pain or how sick she was, she would put a smile on her face so that we didn’t worry about her. She always worried about us making sure we were alright. She loved her family so much even said her nephews and niece were her babies. She was funny and loved to sing, write her own songs and play on her guitar. Her favorite song to sing or have sung to her was “Sunshine, my only sunshine.” She had been sick most of her life and didn’t have the chance to change the world like she always wanted to but did change others that came into her life. We were so blessed to have had her in our lives. Jen will be so missed and we will carry her with us until we see her again.
Jen is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Campos Jr.; and brother, James Jason Scarborough.
Survivors: Mom, Lana Lee Scarborough; brother, Chris Campos and wife, Misty; sister, Nica Rendon and husband, Ed; grandmother “Memaw”, Nita Antley; nephew, Anthony Rendon; nephew, Chris Campos; niece, Chloe Campos; and many friends.
