Jenny Lou Giddens

Jenny Lou Giddens of Ft. Worth, TX passed away June 9, 2023 from respiratory failure.  Jenny was born May 31, 1964 to Joe D. and Betty Lou Giddens. Growing up in Ft. Worth, she attended Tarrant County Junior College majoring in art and architecture.

Together with her father, Bernie Millett, Jim Walker and other close friends, Jenny enjoyed canoeing and kayaking trips to the Rio Grande, Guadalupe and other Texas rivers with a Coed Explorer Post adventure group. 

She is survived by her Aunt Nancy Berger of Bedford, TX cousins Michelle and Renee, Aunt Betty (Folsom) Bell of Dallas, and cousins Jim and Stephanie; stepmother Georgene Giddens of Broken Arrow, half-sister Ginger Cheek (Chris) and their son, Pip of Tulsa, OK.  She is also survived by a dear friend with whom she grew up, Jim Walker of Longmont. CO.

Her family and friends enjoyed her endearing sense of humor, resilience, strength and early artistic talent.  Jenny loved her family, stockyard events and everything Ft. Worth.
