Jimmie Glynn Carpenter

FORT WORTH — Jimmie Glynn Carpenter, 72, passed away quietly Monday, April 7, 2014.
Graveside service: Private service by invitation only. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at University United Methodist Church, 2416 W. Berry St., Fort Worth, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family.
Jim was born Feb. 23, 1942, to the late James and Hazel Carpenter in Memphis, Tenn. He worked for the Katy and Union Pacific railroads for 33 years.
Survivors: Wife of 28 years, Kristin Carpenter; children, Jim Jr., Jeff, Jason, Bill, J. Paul, Becky and Jennifer; siblings, Bob Tolbert and Wanda Coward; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
