FORT WORTH-John Allen Lollis passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at the age of 63.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: A private service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020.
John was born Wednesday, August 28, 1957 in Chandler, Arizona to James T. and Rolande E. Lollis.
John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends creating lasting memories through jokes and laughter. His family was important to him. If he ever went missing at a gathering, he could be found playing with his grandchildren. John loved being outdoors working in the yard and tending to his garden. He enjoyed woodworking and making things for the people he loved. John shared his love for sports with everyone he met. He enjoyed coaching his children’s youth sports teams. His passion, dedication, and commitment will live on in the children he coached.
John started his childhood education in Mississippi, attended school in Germany, and eventually Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
He always shared his memories of his time working at Ridgmar Mall with his best friend Micheal. John’s love of woodworking led him to a job with Georgia Pacific and then General Dynamics. Later, he worked with his wife Pam and helped run their small business. He was a Catholic and drew strength from his faith in God.
John is preceded in death by his father, James T. Lollis; and step-father, Robert “Bob” Young.
SURVIVORS: John is survived by his wife, Pamela Lollis; mother, Rolande Young; daughter, Melisty Huff and husband, Mark; daughter, Stephanie Balster and husband, Christopher; son, James Lollis and wife, Katie; sisters, Evelyne Kirschner, Viviane Lollis and Bernadette Young and husband, Ricardo; brother, David Young and wife, Lisa; granddaughters, Ashlyn Huff, Camlin Lollis, Claire Lollis, Kamryn Potter and Scarlett Lollis; grandson, Logan Balster; and numerous friends.
