John E. Richards

FORT WORTH-John E. Richards passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the age of 86.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
John was born February 18, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Ashton and Mildred Richards. He graduated from Tulsa Central High School. John proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Army. He enjoyed gardening, golf and traveling anywhere in the world. He retired after 34 years of dedicated service from the U. S. Postal service as a letter carrier. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed.
John is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ashton Richards Jr.; brother, Charles Richards; brother, William Richards; and daughter, Lane Ann Richards.
Survivors: Wife of 26 years, Farida Richards; daughter, Lesa Bankhead and husband, Richard; brother, Richard L. Richards and wife, Bonita; sister, Mary Ann Hooper and husband, Sam; granddaughter, Chelsea Tatarevich and husband, Brandon; great grandsons, Carson and Hunter Tatarevich; great granddaughter, Katelyn Tatarevich; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
