John Robert Hardin

John Robert Hardin 78, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away at his home in Burleson, Texas on Jan. 29, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He fought a long courageous battle with cancer for over a year.

John was an Air Conditioning Contractor owing his own HVAC Company for several years until his retirement. He loved to cook, bake cakes and pies, watch the news and he took pride in his yard. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, building bird houses and spending time outdoors.

John is survived by his wife of 40 years Suzanne Hardin, daughters Tracy Baker, Donna Owens and husband David, stepdaughter Rachael Miller and husband Johnny, five grandchildren Kylie Cope, Cameron Cope, McKenzie Owens, Justin Miller, Shelby Herring and husband Justin. He also had several great grandchildren very dear to his heart.

John is preceded in death by his mother Velma Lou Shelly, father Benjamin Hardin, brothers Billy Dean Hardin and Jimmy Don Hardin, sisters Barbara Clark and Bobbie Grantham. 

John was well loved by many and will be deeply missed. Memorial Service will held on Sunday, February 9th, 2025 from 1:00-4:00pm at the Burleson Senior Citizen Center at 216 S.W. Johnson Ave. Burleson, Texas 76028
