John Ray “John Ray” Wiggins

FORT WORTH-John Ray “John Ray” Wiggins passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the age of 74.
Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
John Ray was born April 3, 1944 to the late Dr. John A. Wiggins and Jane Harper Wiggins in Fort Worth. He attended RL Paschal High School and Texas Tech University. He was a huge sports fan and would always watch any sport he could and probably had some sort of crazy bet on whatever game he was watching. John Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Wife of 36 years, Barbara Wiggins; daughter, Deborah Wiggins Prather and husband, Chad; step-daughter, Angie Cummings and husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Jordan Thompson, Hayden Cummings, Kyleigh Prather, Luke Cummings and Sydney Prather; great-grandchildren, Ashton Walker and Paisleigh Walker; brother, Lee Wiggins and wife, Thao; sister, Pat Falconer; nieces, Alysa Johnson and Mina Wiggins; nephew, Levon Wiggins; and many friends.
