John Steven Johnson (1964 – 2013)

John Steven Johnson, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at the age of 49. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors. John was born July 9, 1964, in Greenville, Miss. He loved to cook and was a chef for Eurest Support Service where he worked offshore. John was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and a kind and compassionate friend to all who were blessed enough to have known him. John especially loved his two little fur babies, Dolce and Missy, who were just like they were his children. John was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Mary Johnson; and grandmother, Sadie Artist. Survivors: Wife, Cynthia Johnson; daughter, Johneisha Roberts and husband, Karl Johnson; grandson, Kayden Johnson; sisters, Lakesha McClaine and Margaret Moore; and numerous other family and friends.
