Johnnie H. Ramsey Jr.

FORT WORTH-Johnnie H. Ramsey Jr. passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the age of 84.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at The Met Church.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment: Johnnie will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Johnnie was born in Vernon, Texas on April 16, 1934 to the late John H. and Lelon Vester Ramsey. He was a Baptist minister for more than 60 years. Johnnie had a kind heart, a lovable spirit and a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Daughter, Deborah Erwin and husband, H. W.; sons, Bill Ramsey and wife, Cindy; and John Ramsey III and wife, Janet; the mother of his children, Ellen Lou Ramsey; brother, Donald L. Ramsey and wife, Shirley; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous friends.
