Joseph Paul

Joseph (JL) Paul, 57, passed away on April 23, 2023, in Burleson, TX.

Joseph Paul was born on March 1, 1966 in Cumberland, MD, to Henry Paul and Jetty Jo Paul.

Joseph graduated from Brawley High School in 1984 and went on to earn a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Texas Tech University in December 1991. He started his career in Finance and later became a Field Manager and went on to work for D.R. Horton Homes and Pulte Homes for a combined 16 years.

Joseph married his bride Barbara, on January 4, 1992 in Lubbock TX. The couple had 2 children, Tyler Paul, Justin Paul.

Joseph was best known for his love of sports especially football, baseball, fishing and golf. He was known for his love and dedication to his teams: Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Padres and his Texas Tech University Red Raiders.

His sons were his pride and joy. He took great pleasure in being able to coach them in youth sports along with countless other youths. One of his biggest life lessons for the boys was to think "WWDD" what would dad do. They still quote it.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara, his son Tyler and his wife Callie and his son Justin, along with his grandchildren: Maverick Paul, Lila Paul and Cariana Ruiz-Paul.

Joseph is preceded in death by his father Henry Paul and his mother Jetty Jo Paul.

The memorial for Mr. Joseph Paul will be held on June 10, 2023, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm at Owens House in Round Rock, TX.
