Joshua was born Sept. 23, 1992, in Bedford to John and Tammy Hite. He grew up most of his life on a rural farm near Alvord and graduated from Alvord High School. Joshua loved playing football and was a fanatical University of Texas football fan. Joshua enjoyed the adventures of the outdoors, from camping to fishing, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to others. He was in Colorado during the recent history-making floods, and spent much of his time helping others move and save personal belongings and then clean and start rebuilding after the storms. His heart was as big as Texas and he loved his many family members with a passion.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Kay Sutherlin Jackson, and aunt, Bobina Jackson.
Survivors: Joshua is survived by his father, John Hite of Hurst; mother, Tammy Hite of Richland Hills; sister, Brooke Hite of Hurst; grandparents, John and Jean Hite of Hurst; grandfather, Malcolm Jackson of Richland Hills; aunt, Robin Scott Hite of Arlington; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; and many friends.
