Joy L. Ridgeley

FORT WORTH–Joy L. Ridgeley passed away Thursday, December 28th, 2017, in Fort Worth, TX at the age of 60. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at West Side Campus of Care, 1950 Las Vegas Trail in White Settlement. There will be a dinner after the service. We will be collecting small throw blankets to donate to the local Humane Society in Joy’s name because she felt like all the animals needed a blanket.
Joy was born to Al and Joyce Southard on September 8th, 1957 in Alton, Illinois.
Joy had a big heart, love of animals, could make friends with anyone and a sense of humor that many will miss. After a lengthy illness she is no longer in pain and has been reunited with her father, Al and brother, Russ in a place of peace.
Survivors: She leaves behind her husband of 21 years, Rockey Frey; daughter: Dawn Fain (Lance), Fort Worth; son: Nick Frey, Fort Worth; grandsons: Bennett and Blake Fain, Fort Worth; mother: Joyce Southard, Colorado Springs, CO; sisters: Kim Southard (Pat), Colorado Springs, CO; Jana Morrison (Al), Juneau, AK; brother: Randy Southard (Teresa) and many other extended family members and friends.
