FORT WORTH-Judy Gaye Ray passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the age of 63.

Judy was born Sunday, December 29, 1957 in Hobbs, New Mexico to the late Cecil and Pauline Childers. She attended Texas Wesleyan University and graduated with a BS in Business Administration. She also studied in a nursing program, but found a different calling. Judy was a member of Eastern Star and Victorian Era Reenactment member. Judy had a great sense of humor and would talk to anyone. She never met a stranger. She had a beautiful smile which was inviting for someone to come up and talk with her. She loved cats, flowers, British comedies, outdoors, her grand dogs, Diet Coke, camping, hiking, travel, British history, specifically Victorian Era and Scarborough Faire. Judy was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Mike Childers, Jesse Childers and Henry Childers.
SURVIVORS: Son, Marcus Ray Jr. and wife, Lindsay; grandson, Cayden Ray; sister, Paula Moore; sister, Suzanne Wolf and husband, Jerry; sister, Martha Nevers; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
