FORT WORTH-Karen Kaye Hodges passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the age of 67.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, 420 S. Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131
Karen was born Monday, November 24, 1952 to the late Phillip Turner and Evelyn Marie Hodges in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Trinity High School. She worked at Phelps/Hodges Insurance Agency and American General. Karen loved sewing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was always there for anyone who just needed someone to talk to. She also loved riding motorcycles and living life to its fullest. Some of her favorites included holidays and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest memory and achievement was having her son, Trey. He was the love of her life. She had a gentle sweet spirit, always forgiving and kind to everyone. All of us are better just having Karen in our lives. She will be deeply missed by us all.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents; son, William Dean “Trey” Martin; brother, Phillip Roger Hodges; brother, Turner Leon Hodges; grandmother, Hattie Hodges; and grandfather, Charlie Duncan.
Survivors: Brother, Glen Mark Hodges and wife, Kristie Kathleen; grandson, Tyler Martin; nephew, Phil Hodges; nephew, Halston Mark Hodges and wife, Brittney; nephew, Kollin Ray Hodges; niece, Samantha Hodges; niece, Lindsey Hodges; great nephews, Kooper , Kohan and Kye; and lifelong friends, Barbra Cook, Sandra Smith and Caitlyn Cummings.
