Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on January 15th, 2024 at the age of 67 after a long battle with Cancer.
She was born in Houston, TX on December 25, 1956, to Jimmy Mounce and Sue Reaver. She attended Western Hills High School before going on to attend college at Texas Tech University. Karen spent most of her career in customer service roles and retired from Home Depot.
Karen will always be remembered for her love for family and friends. She also loved trivia nights, shopping, crossword puzzles, painting, and social gatherings. With her friends she had a passion for traveling, especially on cruises and road trips. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her best friend Kelly.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her first grandchild Tate Friederick.
Survivors include her son; Michael Reinke, her brother; Michael Mounce and his significant other Rhonda Brown, her nieces and nephews; Jessica Magro, Nicholas Magro, Melanie Allison, and Travis Allison, and her two great nieces and nephews; Kaysen Magro and Kyrie Magro.
Karen's family plans to honor her with a private service in Killeen, TX to spread her and her mothers ashes at the grave site of her father.
