FORT WORTH-Katharine VanessaLyn Moore-Pitts passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in North Richland Hills, Texas at the age of 62.
Katharine was born Saturday, June 14, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas to Leonard Donald Moore I and Herbie Lee (Coleman) Moore.
Celebration of Life: 3 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Bowman Springs Park, 7003 W. Poly Webb Rd, Arlington, Texas 76016.
Kathy grew up on the east side of San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated from Sam Houston High School and had many life long friends. Making a career as an Escalations Manager at JP Morgan Chase in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, she professionally guided her colleagues, giving life to the office each day with her vibrant energy. She was a hard working woman who valued her family over everything and was a matriarch to many others. She followed her heart, practiced forgiveness, and shared her wisdom. The beat goes on, just like your love, everlasting!!
Katharine was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors: Daughter, Helen Juanita Lee Pitts; daughter, Vanessa Lynn Pitts; daughter, Jasmine Bianca Pitts; son, Leonard Donald Moore II; grandson, Vega Andrew Hill-Moore; father, Leonard Donald Moore I; sister, Michelle Yvette Robinson; sister, Melody Ann Garnett and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
