Katherine S. Boeck

Katherine S. Boeck, (95) passed away at her home in Fort Worth on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022.
Katherine was born in Granger, Texas in October of 1926. She was the second daughter of Frank and Ruth Schiller and grew up with her sisters, Doris and Ann, and younger brother, Jimmy, in Austin.
Katherine was a partner in Red Coach Interiors in Houston Texas. Interior and garden design was always her passion. Even in her last days she was trying to redesign, repaint, and improve her eclectic environment.
She was a devoted mother to her two sons James and Jeff, and also to the other family members. Family was a top priority for her. Her barbeque parties would draw huge crowds, with all yearning for her delicious food and chocolate pies.
Survivors: Her sons, James Mitchell Jr. and wife Judy of Hudson Oaks, Texas; Jeffrey P. Mitchell of Grand Junction, Colorado; Sister Ann Simpson of Georgetown; Nieces Debbie Norval, Carolyn Potter, Carla Simpson, and Lisa Lippe; nephews Mike Simpson, David Simpson, Jim Ballard, James Schiller, Frank Schiller; and numerous other family members.
