Lawrence J. Hughes

FORT WORTH-Lawrence J. Hughes passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 85.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Mead Baptist Church, Mead, Oklahoma.
Lawrence was born Monday, August 9, 1937 to the late William F. and Selesta S. Hughes in Bokchito, Oklahoma. Lawrence loved grilling outdoors and driving his Peterbilt truck. Most of all, Lawrence loved his family and will be deeply missed.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents; and beloved wife of 65 years, Rowena M. Hughes.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mary Homer and husband, Willie; son, Mark Hughes and wife, Shirlene; grandson, Bryan Hughes; granddaughter, Kali Hughes; granddaughter, Krystle Cunningham and husband, Matt; brother, William (Bill)Hughes, Jr.; brother in law, Glynn Hull and wife, Patricia; niece, Shannon Arthur and husband, Jerry and their children, Bailee and Jake; nephew, Jarrett Hughes and wife, Kim and their daughter, Morgan Hughes; nephew, Brent Hull and wife, Jennifer; nephew, Greg Hull and wife, Kerry and their children, Scarlet, Josephine and Grayson Hull; and uncle, George Hull and wife, Margie.
