Leesa Marie Bonkiewicz Anthony

Leesa Marie Bonkiewicz Anthony, 63, passed away on May 15, 2023, in Burleson, TX.

Leesa Anthony was born on February 1, 1960 in Sidney, NE, to Eugene Bonkiewicz and Gloria Bonkiewicz.

Leesa graduated from Greeley West High School in 1978 and went on to earn a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado in 1982. She later completed a Masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She started her career as a Speech Language Pathologist upon graduation and finished her career at Fort Worth Independent School District with 15 years of service.

Leesa married Thomas Anthony on May 4, 1985 in Dallas TX. The couple had 2 children, Hannah Anthony Mendoza and Sarah Anthony.

Leesa was best known for her fierce love of her family and her unwavering faith.

Leesa is survived by Thomas Anthony - Husband, of Fort Worth, Hannah Mendoza - Daughter, Sarah Anthony - Daughter, Juan Mendoza - Son-in-Law, Dianne Moran - Sister, Mike Bonkiewicz - Brother, and Dan Bonkiewicz - Brother.

Leesa is preceded in death by Eugene Bonkiewicz - Father and Gloria Bonkiewicz - Mother.

The vigil service for Mrs. Leesa Anthony will be held on May 30th at Brown, Owens, & Brumley Family Funeral Home & Crematory from 5pm-7pm. We will then have a mass on May 31st at St. Andrews Catholic Church at 10am.
