Leonard F. Griggs

FORT WORTH-Leonard F. Griggs passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the age of 55.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, Pastor Kim Higdon officiating.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Leonard was born Saturday, November 16, 1963 to Joe Lee and JoAnn Dickinson Griggs in Fort Worth, Texas. You never knew what Leonard would be up to because he was the life of the party. He was always crazy and totally full of mischief. He was an extremely outgoing individual and he never met a stranger. He always had a kind word for everyone. Leonard was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be deeply missed by us all.
Leonard is preceded in death by his father, Joe Lee Griggs; and brother, Jessie Griggs.
Survivors: Wife of 19 years, Peggy Griggs; mother, JoAnn Janzen and husband, Lenhard Janzen; son, Jerry Griggs and wife, Alexa; son, Jessie Lynn Griggs; step-daughter, Michelle Hill; step-daughter, Sandy Scrogum; sister, Debbie Jo Ahmadpour and husband, Hamid; brother, John Griggs and wife, Debora; step-brothers, Mike Janzen, Daryl Janzen, Dale Janzen; step-sister, Debbie Sue Pulcher; step-grandchildren, Summer Hill, Ocean Ross, Sydney Ross and Chance Mitchmore; nephews, Bradley Griggs, Sean Griggs, Donny Ahmadpour and wife, Kristi, Chris Ahmadpour and wife, Joanna, and Anthony Ahmadpour; and many friends.
