Linda Faye Bates

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Linda Faye Bates, our beautiful, loving mother, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the age of 68.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday in Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Fordham McElroy officiating. Interment: Linda will be laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Linda was born Oct. 24, 1946, to the late Austin Sizemore and Beatrice Hobbs in Bakersfield, Calif. She grew up in New Mexico and moved to Texas in her teens. She had lived in North Richland Hills for 45 years. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very proud of her family, loved holidays and eagerly looked forward to family get-togethers. Any chance to spend time with her family was very important to her. Her family was her No. 1 priority in life. Linda will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Austin Sizemore and Hobbs.
Survivors: Daughter, Mary Thedford and husband, Hubert; daughter, Marcy Eudy and husband, Paul; son, Robert A. Bates; grandchildren, Jonathan, Shawn, Ryan, Katie, Alie and Shelby; great-grandchildren, Corbin, Hagen, Harper and Piper; siblings, Austin E. Sizemore, Donald Sizemore and Patricia Knight; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
