Fort Worth, Texas – Loucille Johnston, 106, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Sunday, January 14, 2018.
Visitation 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday January 19, 2018 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Loucille will be laid to rest at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, TX.
Loucille was born March 31, 1911, in Milford Texas. Her family were farmers in Johnson county. She retired 1972 from Williamson and Dickies in Fort Worth after working 35 years as a seamstress and a pattern cutter. She was an active member of Covenant Life Baptist Church Kennedale, Texas and she was a member of the Rebekah Lodge Fort Worth, Texas. She was a loving wife, daughter, and grandmother and was loved by all who came in contact with her. She was happiest when she was sewing, crocheting or working in the garden. Most of all she loved God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William David and Fannie Boulter White; son, Larry Johnston; daughters, Ruby Mae and Thura Fae Johnston; brothers A.B. White, W.D. White, Joe White and Horace White; sisters, Ruby White and Susie White and grandson, David Johnston.
Survivors: Daughter in-law, Addie Pearl Johnston of Alvarado, Texas; grandsons, Dale and Carla Johnston of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, Timothy Johnston of Fort Worth, Texas and Charles and Susan Johnston of Jefferson, Ohio; 3 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and cousins and a host of friends.
