Lucia Guerra

FORT WORTH-Lucia Guerra passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 85.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 10,2021 at the funeral home.
Lucia was born December 4, 1935 to the late Juan Barraza and Francisca Villarreal in Robstown, Texas. She loved to travel and some of her favorite places she traveled to were Colorado, California, Las Vegas, Arizona and Oklahoma. She also loved listening to music, shopping at flea markets, fishing, making tamales, playing bingo, and gambling on the slots in Las Vegas and Oklahoma.
Her favorite pastime was just having breakfast or lunch with her kids and grandchildren.
Lucia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alonzo Guerra; son, Rene Guerra; and son, Richard Guerra.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Rosa Diaz; son, Rudy Guerra; daughter, Rebecca Gauna; daughter, Rachel Perez; daughter, DeeDee Ordway; partner of 25 years, Tomas Maldonado; sister, Patricia Garcia; sister, Diana Garcia; brother, Joe Barraza; brother, Johnny Barraza; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
