Luz Araceli Romero

Luz Araceli Romero, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and close friends November 16, 2023. She was born April 20, 1955 in San Miguel, El Salvador to Ana Rita Guerrero.

Luz immigrated from El Salvador in 1980 and moved to Fort Worth in 1985 where she dedicated her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. 

She married her late husband of 40 years Hector Romero in 1981, and they lived together in Houston for 5 years before relocating to Fort Worth.

Luz is survived by her children; son, Edgar Romero; Daughter Angela Zenteno and husband, Lorenzo; granddaughter, Clarrisa Romero; granddaughter, Xzariah Romero; granddaughter, Maria Zenteno; grandson, Adriel Zenteno; granddaughter, Ariana Zenteno; great-grandson, Elias Diaz and great-granddaughter Aria Romero.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Hector Romero; mother, Ana Rita Guerrero; grandmother, Angel Maria Guerrero; and grandson Alexander Zenteno.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 29, 2023, in Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
