Maria Guadalupe Summers

Maria Guadalupe Martinez Summers passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age of 79.

Memorial service:  Rosary at 9:30 Tuesday, April 11, 2023 and Mass at 10 a.m. to be held at St. Johns in North Richland Hills.

Burial:  1:15 p.m.  Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Maria was born December 25, 1943 to the late Carlos Martinez and Ernestina Melgarejo in Tylapacoyan, Mexico.  Maria loved our Lord, Jesus Christ and was dedicated to Him and his teachings.  She loved Christmas and all the decorating that went with it.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 48 years, Robert Earl Summers.

Survivors:  Daughter, Ruby Summers-DesCamps and husband, Brian;  son, Robert Carlos Summers and wife, Kerra; son, Christopher Shane Summers; grandchildren, Kerryanna Medlin, Patrick Medlin, Jillian Summers, Tanner Summers, Ryleigh DesCamps and Elizabeth DesCamps; brothers, Lalo Martinez and wife, Blanca, Rafael Martinez and wife, Victoria, and Ramon Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins living in Mexico.
