Mark Allen Richard Sr.

SAGINAW-Mark Allen Richard, Sr. passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the age of 58.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Mark was born Saturday, August 18, 1962 to Bernard Allen and Patricia Ann Richard. Mark attended and graduated from Huron High School in Michigan. He met the “Love of his Life” in 1986 at DFW Airport at the toll gate. The engagement came just 3 months after that and then 35 wonderful years of marriage. Mark loved to watch it rain so every time it rained, he would go outside with the kids to watch it. Mark loved going to the Rangers game and often took the boys to see them play. He also loved the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Pistons. Did I mention his favorite drink was Dr. Pepper? He loved old western movies but especially loved the John Wayne movies. He worked an IT tech for Sprint, Blackberry, Cash America and has worked at American Airlines for the past 2 years. One of the proudest moments of his life was when his granddaughter, GraceLynn was born on April 23, 2019. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will surely be missed by us all.
Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Richard.
SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 35 years, Paula Kay Richard; son, Mark Allen, Jr.; daughter, Kristina Marie Bowers and husband, Josh; daughter, Jill Alexandra Lewis and husband, Zachary; son, Brandon Bernard Thomas Ray; son, Zachary Quentin Richard; sister, Victoria Richards; sister, Bonnie Louise Gilbert and husband, Ron; brother, Thomas Charles Richard and wife, Iris; granddaughter, GraceLynn Kay Marie Lewis; and many friends.
