Marsha Kay Mayberry

FORT WORTH-Marsha Kay Mayberry passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the age of 70.
Marsha was born July 10, 1948, to Jack and Betty Mayberry in Houston, Texas.

The fact that she was an unsupported teenage mother greatly affected her life, which forced her down a turbulent road till her last days.
Many young, single mothers experience similar struggles within our community. This nonprofit helps to provide a safe, welcoming community for pregnant women who are at risk of homelessness. Empowering these women to learn and grow in their life, job, and parenting skills will bring stability and support to them in a harsh world.
The organization, ‘In My Shoes,’ will help set their lives in motion again by assisting these women and families, allowing them to heal and live a happier life. We hope that we can all help to break the cycle of struggle for young mothers.
A memorial website will be created within the coming days to highlight her life. Friends and family are encouraged to share their memories of her.
